Dr. Sam Fleisher
Sam Fleisher earned his B.A. in Elementary Education from Queens College, M.S. in Education of the Neurologically Impaired & Physically Handicapped from Hofstra University, S.C. in Language & Learning Disorders from Yeshiva University, and Ed.D. in Special Education Administration from Columbia University.
His 35 years of experience include public and private school teaching and administration, university instruction, staff development/training, and private practice in educational interventions for home and school.
His early professional experiences occurred in two private NYC schools that specialized in working with children with severe neurological impairments and neurobiological disorders. He continued his work with these and other special populations as a special education teacher in the Hewlett Woodmere UFSD and Cold Spring Harbor CSD. As an administrator in Jericho UFSD and South Huntington USFD, he designed programs and services for special education students, conducted staff training, and developed fluid CSE processes.
